Elon Reeve Musk, the founder and CEO of TESLA and SpaceX made a big revolution in the technological world. He studied Rocket Science himself by reading textbooks in his spare time. Unlike common people, he can complete reading around 2 books per day.

He has started as well as founded a lot of companies like Zip2, X.com, Solar City, Neuralink, OpenAI, etc. They are all seems to be interrelated and interdependent.

Life style and achievements

He was born in Pretoria, South Africa on 28 June 1971. He emigrated to Canada due to the country's strict orders.

He loved to be alone. He didn’t want to talk too much to anyone. You know how fellow students treat people with such traits. Some of the students in the school were teasing and making fun of him and even beating him. On one such occasion, he was injured in an attack by students and then fainted and fell at school. But his father (Errol Musk) didn't care about that at all. His father was addicted to alcohol.

Once he was admitted to an hospital. He felt very lonely then. He started reading Isaac Assimo's books. This is where his interest started sparking towards the technology and creative thinking.

At the age of 12, he invented a game called BLASTER and he also sold it for $500 to a company named PC AND OFFICE TECHNOLOGY. His thaught actually was to start a game station by installing 2 machines. He almost made all arrangements for that along with his brother but, due to lack of age, permission was denied to start and run businesses. However, he was such a talented that he sold his game for $500 at that young age.

Elon Musk and his brother Kimbal Musk started a software company named Global Link Information Network in the year 1995 and in 1996, its name was officially changed to Zip2. It served as online city guide to newspapers. Later in 1999, Compaq computer paid $305 million and acuired Zip2 for enhancing its web search engine Alta Vista.

As Elon Musk had held 7% of the company shares that time, he got $22 millon and out of which, he invested $10 million to start X.com, an online banking system to finance businesses. During his early stages of running businesses, Elon Musk found some difficulties in payment transactions such as collecting cheques and encashing it, etc. Therefore, he decided to merge X.com with Confinity Inc., a software company serving online payment transactions. Later X.com was renamed to PayPal, which then purchased by eBay for $1.5 Billion in the year 2002. From this deal, Elon Mush got $165 million as he had held most of the shares of PayPal.

In the year 2001, Elon Musk conceptualized a project named Mars Oasis in the plan of inhabitating human to the Mars planet. He tried to purchase affordable rockets from Russia but, he couldn't as the prices are much higher than he expected.

Therefore, he decided to manufacture the rockets himself by establishing SpaceX with the help of rocket engineer Tom Mueller. All his 3 attempts of rocket lauches failed and he was said to be the sign of failure model that time. In the 4th attempt of carrying NASA's carry load to space, SpaceX successfully done the job.

From the money received from the sale of PayPal, Elon Musk invested $6.5 million in a car manufacturing as well as a technology company called Tesla Motors Inc., in the year 2003. He bacame the largest shareholder of the company and also the Chairman of the company. He was allowed to call as on the co-founders of the company.

In 2006, he helped his cousin brothers starting a new another company called Solar City. It mainly focused on door-to-door sales based leasing of solar panel. Consumers no need to pay for the equipment but, only the electricty gnerated by the solar panel equipment.
